Five lambs have been killed in a livestock attack in the Llanerfyl area last week.
Police officers are appealing to the public to share any information about the attack which resulted in the deaths of five Texel cross lambs on Friday, April 14.
It is the second suspected dog attack that has been reported by police in north Powys in the past two days.
On Tuesday, police warned dog owners to keep their pets on leads and out of fields containing livestock following an attack on farmland in the Kerry area, near Newtown which left a lamb dead.
A Suffolk Cross hogget - a lamb aged between one and two years – was killed sometime between Bank Holiday Monday (April 10) and Wednesday, April 12.

Livestock worrying - where a dog attacks or chases livestock causing injury or suffering - is a criminal offence.
Dyfed-Powys Police said: "This isn’t just a threat to a farmer or landowner’s livelihood, it’s also a dangerous situation for the animals involved, and could lead to more risk if the animals get onto the road.
"A farmer is allowed to kill the dog if it’s worrying their livestock.
"Always keep your dog under control around other animals and if you see a dog on the loose worrying animals, report it online."
