HUNDREDS of people turned out for Llangollen Food Festival to sample some of the region's culinary delights.
Despite the occasional rain showers on Saturday, a huge number of people were town for the first day of this year's food festival.
People packed into the town hall - just one of a number of venues with stalls. Market Street was also thronged with people browsing the wide selection of stalls.
There were also stalls at Llangollen Railway Station and at Riverside park.
People tucking in there were also- able listen to live music being played out on the bandstand nearby and on Cetenary Square on Castle Street.
Live cooking demonstrations from top chefs have took place in the band hut in Parade Street which was also the setting earlier for a demonstration of bread making by Liz Wilson of Overton-on-Dee based Ma Baker.
The action continued for the second day of the festival on Sunday.
