A Powys equestrian centre is looking into opening a laser tag venue with help from a recent grant.
Fedw Equestrian Centre, based in Trecastle, was one of several businesses to receive help from a Growth Grants pot from Powys County Council.
The scheme saw businesses receive between £1,00 and £25,000 sums after a total of nearly £1.1 million was secured by the council, from the UK Government, via the Shared Prosperity Fund.
The owners of the centre, created to train and house horses for competitive events, have said that they are hoping to use their grant to buy new equipment, a website and training to diversify into becoming a laser tag venue, Laser Tag Wales.
Sam Workman, Director of Fedw Equestrian Centre said: "We are proposing to use our current infrastructure to diversify into becoming a laser tag venue.
“It works well with our Welsh Government Green Growth Pledge with very little noise and extremely low environmental impact.
“We have also pledged to plant hardwood trees to offset our visitors' carbon footprint as the business grows."
Thirteen businesses across Mid Wales received a sum of money from the first round of grants, while more will be available under the second round, which will remain open until the pot of £950,000 has been fully allocated.
Powys County Council added that applications are being considered on a first-come-first-served basis, subject to approval.
