THE ultimate festival for foodies is coming to Llangollen this weekend.
The annual Llangollen Food Festival regularly attracts thousands of hungry visitors from across the UK looking to sample both new and traditional experiences in food and drink.
Boasting a wonderful range of stalls (over 80 in total), and presenting a delicious array of artisan food and drink such as breads, cheeses and pies to sweet offerings such as crepes, cheesecake and pastries, this year's event is not to be missed.
On Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13, Llangollen's Food Festival will take place in a variety of venues across the town with most stalls open between 10-4.
The main locations are Llangollen Railway Station, The Town Hall, Centenary Square, Market Street, Riverside Park, the Silver Band Hall and Gales Wine Bar.
Entry to the festival is free for adults and children, and free parking at Denbighshire County Council owned carparks can be found at Market Street, Mill Street, Berwyn Street and Parade Street.
There will be a variety of food stalls offering samples, as well as a host of demonstrations and entertainment, and for the first time, there will also be a Riverside Walk Exhibition located just before the Riverside Park, to be sponsored by the Rhyg Estate.
Guests can expect live entertainment at the Bandstand and Centenary Square from local artists and musicians, with endless entertainment for children, including a Treasure Chest at the Town Hall.
This year's sponsors include the Corn Mil, Riversdale House B&B, Vale of Llangollen Golf Club, The Clwydian Butcher, Llangollen Oggie Shop, and Llangollen Railway.
