The route for a popular illuminated tractor run has been revealed.

The event organised by Aberhafesp and Trefeglwys YFC will be held on Saturday, December 14, and will be raising money to Velindre Cancer Centre.

The run will start at 6pm at Cae Hafren in Llanidloes and will go through Llanidloes town centre at 6.10pm before arriving in Trefeglwys at 6.35pm.

From 7pm, the procession will visit Caersws, Aberhafesp at 7.20pm, Newtown at 7.40pm before finishing in Bettws Cedewain at roughly 8.15pm.

Organisers said: "This year our tractor run will be donating money to Velindre Cancer Centre where they are currently supporting Luc Evans who is from a farming background.

"Luc is 15 years old, a massive fan of rugby, plays for Haverfordwest RFC and also loves farming at home.

"Velindre Cancer Centre supports patients under the care of clinical and medical oncologists which specialise in the non-surgical treatment of cancer. The centre is well known as the 'Hospital of Hope'.

"It'd be great to see as much support from communities as possible."
